OUR CURRENT BIG ASK

In honor of John Malanowski and the Bible School graduate; Sekhi, whom he was working with at the time of his passing and graduation to Heaven, we wanted to make you aware of this need to help further the Gospel! 

Pastor Sekhi has been working in Kuta, Bali to build a congregation of disciples for approximately 7 years. This small church plant has out grown their current rented store front facility and they could really use a permanent larger place to meet. We know John had a vision to see this happen.

Being such a popular and densely populated area, land is not cheap in the greater Denpasar area. After much prayer and searching for the right location, land was recently purchased in Jimbaran in early 2024. The plan now is to build a building to accommodate about 125 people with a second floor for teaching rooms and a small area for Pastor Sekhi and his family to live on site and watch over the property. The building is estimated to cost approximately $100,000. As of November 21st, 2024, $37,000 has already been pledged, leaving $63,000 needed. 

Please pray and ask the Lord how you may be able to help. Psalm 127:1 proclaims, “Except the Lord build the house, They labor in vain that build it...”John used to preach that he wasn't ashamed to ask God's people to support God's work. Indonesia Thrive is humbly asking you to help financially.
